Custom Frameless Shower Enclosures

Each shower enclosure is  unique in design, making it essential that your shower enclosure be fitted with the proper glass layout and hardware selection. This can only be accomplished by a trained professional. For that absolutely perfect job speak to Kenny.

Here we used glass to wall hinges, mounting the door off the wall for greater strength. The panel which is in line to the door is held in place with the use of  U-channel.     Another option to be used for strength and function is the use of a top header. The header makes any enclosure stronger and allows use-to-use top and bottom pivot hinges. We now can locate the door any location we want and by not hinging off the glass we get a better look and stronger enclosure. By using a top header and pivot hinges we can set the door at any location. We can also do away with any support such as glass clips or u-channel on the sides giving us more of that frame less look.

Sometimes you need privacy for your glass enclosure. If that is the case, the glass can be sandblasted to give this effect. Anywhere from total coverage to partial coverage. Everything is custom and any effect can be achieved.

Next to this shower enclosure we needed a glass door with total privacy, the combination of clear and sandblasted glass together worked out very nice.

This enclosure was installed using a glass to glass corner and a door hinged off the wall. The two panels are supported with glass clips.

Here we see another way to support two panels attached together. By using u-channel along the side and bottom edges. Also note how the glass can be cut and fitted around any step ups or seats.

Even a neo-angle shower enclosure is possible using glass to glass hinges made special for that angle. The edges are also mitered to allow the unit to function. Here we built the glass into the wall for no visible support on the sides and used glass clips on bottom.

This custom neo-angle used u-channel to support the panels and glass to glass hinges for the door.

On this enclosure the moveable vent is place above the door and the door is hinged off the wall. The two other glass panels are mitered and bonded together to make the angle needed.

Steam enclosures are no problem. This steam enclosure went floor to ceiling using top and bottom pivot hinges to support the oversized glass. We sealed all the spaces with clear vinyl seals. It made for a very tight sealed unit.

If we want a glass steam enclosure, but can’t go to the ceiling then all we need to do is install a top glass to the enclosure and create a ceiling. Like this enclosure.

Frameless shower enclosures come in 1/2" and 3/8" tempered glass. The use of heavy glass allows the shower enclosures to be installed in a manner with very little framing giving you the "all glass look".
